Our Sources

All data in cheqit comes from established harm reduction organisations, clinical databases, and peer-reviewed sources. Where sources disagree on risk levels, we use the higher (more cautious) rating. Transparency about where our information comes from is essential to trust.

How we use this data

  • Interaction checker: TripSit provides the base matrix. We cross-reference with European harm reduction charts and upgrade risk ratings where the multi-source consensus is higher.
  • Substance profiles: TripSit for base data, PsychonautWiki for structured dosage and duration information.
  • ARV interactions: Manually curated from University of Liverpool's chemsex interaction documents — the clinical gold standard.
  • Crisis resources: Compiled from official government and NGO sources, verified for accuracy.

Our chemsex interaction data is cross-referenced against published interaction charts from these organisations. Where their consensus rating is higher than TripSit alone, we use the more cautious assessment.

Important disclaimer

This app provides information for harm reduction purposes only. It is not medical advice. While we strive for accuracy and use the most reliable sources available, substance interaction data is inherently complex and evolving. Individual reactions can vary based on dosage, body weight, tolerance, health conditions, and other factors not captured here.

Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
